QR stands for Quick Response code, as scanning the 2D &#8220;code&#8221; will provide a response to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">a website; a voice message, a video, a text message (anything alphanumeric), a Google map, wifi login, slidehows, YouTube clips, etc. So they are VERY handy items to make and have in your teaching arsenal! QR codes for the classroom are a simple, low-cost way to hand students a link, a file or a message without typing out a long URL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Scanning and Making QR Codes for the Classroom<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, how do you scan a QR Code? Look on either Google Play or the  App Store. There are plenty of QR Code generators on the internet which <g class=\"gr_ gr_8 gr-alert gr_gramm gr_inline_cards gr_run_anim Grammar multiReplace\" id=\"8\" data-gr-id=\"8\">are<\/g> free to use for a basic downloadable QR Code to be used in the classroom. (See <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"QR Code Generator (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.qr-code-generator.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">QR Code Generator<\/a> or <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"hQRStuf (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.qrstuff.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">QRStuf<\/a>f).
